“The Happiness Project”

Come to “The Happiness Project,” a program held 10:00- 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Jamieson United Methodist Church, 219 Fifth Street in Clarksville, Virginia.

Happy people are kinder, healthier, more generous, grateful and accepting. They think more expansively, have a contagious zest for life, and are more involved with meaningful work. Far from being a selfish pursuit, cultivating our own happiness is a service to others and a gift to the world. Learn some practical happiness boosters and design your very own happiness project to try for yourself.

About the presenter: Ami Hudson, M.Div. offers sessions for individuals and couples, workshops, sermons and retreats through her office in Halifax, Virginia. A graduate of the University of Virginia and Eastern Mennonite Seminary, Ami’s happiness boosters include swing sets, square dancing,
snacks, dogs, peace and quiet, honest talks with friends, learning, and hosting mastermind groups where people follow through on their goals and dreams.

The Jamieson Memorial United Methodist Women will sponsor this special educational program, open to all women in the community, on Saturday, March 16th at 10:00- 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. This is an opportunity for fellowship and spiritual growth open to all women.  Jamieson United Methodist is located at 219 Fifth Street in Clarksville. All are welcome. No pre-registration is necessary, and there is no fee to attend.

“The Happiness Project” is a New York Times #1 bestseller by Gretchen Rubin.
