Celtic Pilgrimage to Ireland
“To be on pilgrimage is to move into a world where the dividing line between past and present, between this world and the next, between what we call sacred and what we call secular, dissolves.” -Esther De Waal
My friend and fellow spiritual director Sheryl Shenk is leading a Pilgrimage to Ireland exploring Celtic Spirituality, May 26-June 7, 2010. The itinerary includes many sites and gorgeous scenery, along with a retreat day and some free time to explore on your own. One thing that will make this trip special: Sheryl will guide the group through times of Celtic prayer and provide an understanding of Celtic spirituality.
Sheryl, along with her husband Jon (both Mennonites with a deep appreciation for Celtic spirituality) and frequent traveler and pilgrimage leader Rev. Dr. Bill Edwards should prove to be knowledgeable guides and terrific companions for such an experience.
For more information, contact me and I can put you in touch with Sheryl. They’re hoping to conclude registration by mid-January.
