Mastermind Groups

I usually have several projects (business, personal or both) that I dream of moving forward on, but I lose focus, run out of steam or feel alone in how to accomplish what I envision.  I heard of Mastermind Groups several years ago, have researched how they work, and am eager to give it a try.

A Mastermind Group is a group of 4 to 6 people who get together regularly to help each other move forward with goals, decisions, projects or challenges by sharing feedback, ideas and encouragement.  Each person gets to be the focus of the group for about 20 minutes, during which the agenda is up to you–sharing a goal, a decision you are trying to make, a challenge you are working through, etc.–and getting other members’ perspectives to help you.

What are some goals, challenges or decisions upon which you want to move forward?  Could a mutually supportive, honest, positive and motivated group help?  We can all benefit from smart, supportive colleagues and a structure that keeps us focused on the life and work we want.  Our trial meeting was positive, focused and encouraging.  I am excited to be giving Masterminding a try!
